Everything you do in prison has a purpose, even stealing spoons and forks, which might be used to dig a tunnel or create a makeshift weapon.
• You can use the exercise yard to your advantage too. For example, increase your strength for scaling walls, a handy trick during your escape. You can bribe and fight your way up the prison ranks, and even recruit fellow inmates to form your own gang if they like you enough.
• The game is about crafting and utilizing your resources. You can find, steal, and trade items like a bar of chocolate, a plastic comb, and even wires to help with your escape. Beware, though as carrying contraband increases the risk of getting caught. If you manage to pass through a detector with contraband in your pocket, your heat meter rises to 99 percent, getting you closer to being busted.
